Så härligt när hela familjen är samlad

Våra båda söner mönstrade på i Nynäshamn och seglade med oss till Stockholm. När vi skulle lägga till i Wasahamnen hade vi både stark och byig vind. Och det var smockfullt. Fick lägga till långsides på utsidan av hamnen och det var därför väldigt skönt med fler personer ombord. Hamnen ligger alldeles vid Wasamuséet och nära Gröna Lund och ja allt som Djurgården har att erbjuda.

Vi hade lite trist väder, men ändå en fin tid. Var på ett båtmuseum, vandrade i Gamla stan och på Söder. Umgicks med besättningen på Tivoli. Åkte spårvagn och Djurgårdsfärjan. Åt gott på Vigårds (Anton bjöd) och på restaurang Paganini i Gamla stan. Anton tog en joggingtur och Magnus skajkade på Djurgården.

Vinkade av pojkarna som tog tåget hem till Göteborg. Tog tunnelbanan till Fältöversten på Östermalm för att handla innan vi kastade loss för turen söderut mot Mem och Göta kanal.

Det är alltid speciellt att segla med egen båt in i en storstad. Och Stockholm är så vackert. Liksom Stockholms skärgård.

Före vi kom hit stannade vi för en natt i viken vid Små Dalarö. Jättefint. Inloppet till detta paradis är smalt och grunt, det var knappt att man trodde att det skulle gå.

Stockholm skärgård…

Äntligen! Jag har många gånger drömt att med egen båt segla i Stockholms Skärgård. Nu är vi här… Tänk att det kan vara så olika, när man nu jämför med västkusten. Vi har seglat 620 NM (ungefär 🙂 på 17 dagar. Och det har varit fantastiskt.

Slottsruinen i Borgholm

Vi hyrde cyklar och tog en cykeltur till Slottsruinen i Borgholm. Fantastiskt vackert och lite kul att cykla i terräng. Tog en guidad tur och det var himla kul att lyssna till guiden, mest för att han var så engagerad – han verkade så lycklig över att få berätta om allt som hänt både i nutid och dåtid.

Vi hann med ett par saker till i Borgholm, tog oss till Soliden och kikade där. Och så var vi på hotellet för poolbad och spa-behandling… härligt!

Känslan att segla på spegelblankt hav…

Nåja, segla är ju knappast möjligt då det ju faktiskt inte blåser alls när hela havet är spegelblankt. Men i alla fall. Det är en helt magisk känsla att färdas över ett stilla vatten. När vi for från Borgholm mot en naturhamn norrut var det sådär – magiskt. Senare på kvällen tog vi vår dinge och åkte över till Judy och Torben som seglat med deras Tivoli från San Francisco och hit. De berättade att de haft en liknande upplevelse mitt på Atlanten. Stiltje. Utanför Azorerna. Och valar. Wow!

Sällan mer än 2 nätter i varje hamn

På semestern blir det sällan mer än två nätter i samma hamn. Oftast bara en. Och vid fint väder stannar vi bara till för att bunkra och köpa en glass. För att sedan leta upp en fin naturhamn. I Borgholm blev det två nätter och vi hann med både en jättemysig cykeltur i terräng, en guidad tur på Slottsruinen,  ett besök på Rosliden och Spa med pool på hotellet. De bygger till i hamnen så där blir mer plats för gästande båtar. Hur fint som helst.
